- I used to be a religious Optimum Nutrition guy, but then I didn't train for two years (due to a shoulder injury)... and when I came back I couldn't believe how expensive ON (and other whey powders) became! So I started looking for an alternative...
Well, I just received this Muscle Works Whey and had my first shake, and by adding the right amount of water I could get it to taste almost EXACTLY like my ON shake used to taste! The ingredients are also the same or very similar, including BCAA's and L-Glutamine. But this powder is SO much more affordable!
It doesn't matter to me that there is slightly less protein per serving, because I can afford to just have slightly more per serving... I actually use a 46g serving size to get 30g of protein - because that is still WHEY cheaper than a serving of ON! (pun intended) - Best tasting.Review by Ian (10 October 2024)
